### Lesson Title: Relationship of Some Members of the Family + Types of Governance + Types of Neighbourhood

### Learning Objectives:

3. Differentiate between various types of neighborhoods.

### Lesson Structure:
#### Introduction (10 minutes):
1. **Greeting and Attendance**: Welcome the students and take attendance.
2. **Lesson Overview**: Explain to the students what they will be learning about today.
3. **Icebreaker**: Ask students to share what they know about their family members, governance, and the type of neighborhood they live in.
#### Part 1: Relationships of Family Members (15 minutes)

2. **Family Relationship Chart**: Show a visual chart of family relationships. Discuss how each member is related to the student.

#### Part 2: Types of Governance (15 minutes)
1. **Introduction to Governance**: Explain what governance means and why it is important.
2. **Types of Governance**: Introduce the basic types of governance such as democracy, monarchy, and dictatorship using flashcards.
3. **Discussion and Examples**: Give examples of countries with each type of governance.
4. **Activity**: In pairs, have students match flashcards of governance types with their descriptions.
#### Part 3: Types of Neighbourhoods (15 minutes)
1. **Introduction to Neighbourhoods**: Explain what a neighborhood is and the different types there are.
2. **Types of Neighbourhoods**: Use pictures to show urban, rural, and suburban neighborhoods. Discuss the characteristics of each type.
3. **Discussion and Examples**: Ask students about their neighborhoods and discuss what makes their neighborhood similar or different from the examples shown.
4. **Activity**: On a worksheet, students draw their own neighborhood and label its characteristics. Allow them to color the drawings.
#### Conclusion (5 minutes)
1. **Recap**: Summarize the key points of the lesson about family relationships, types of governance, and neighborhoods.
